Zoe Ball was today announced as the new presenter for BBC Two's Strictly Come Dancing – It Takes Two, the sister show to BBC One's Saturday night spectacular.
As a former Strictly contestant, Zoe is a self-confessed dancing fan, who knows a thing or two about fancy footwork and has experienced the drama of competing in the series first-hand.
Zoe Ball has got her first major TV role for four years after bagging Claudia Winkleman's slot on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two.
The former Strictly star pipped Natasha Kaplinsky and Denise Van Outen to the BBC2 teatime show. Zoe, 40, said: "I'm giddy with glee and I may even have slipped momentarily into a celebratory cha-cha-cha, although technically not a very good one!
