Chelsee: I'm nervous about my stage debut

Chelsee Healey has revealed she is "very daunted" by her upcoming stage debut. The former Strictly Come Dancing star is quitting her role in BBC1's Waterloo Road to take on a part in touring theatre show The Vagina Monologues.

Chelsee said: "This is my stage debut, this is full-on theatre, it's as good as it gets. "Vicky Entwistle and Clare Buckfield are both lovely. I've never done this before, it's on stage and it's very daunting, but I'm very excited at the same time."

Stricty Brawlroom: Chelsee in drunken scrap

When her pals asked her to go out for a bop, this is probably not what Chelsee Healey had in mind… The Strictly Come Dancing star, who wowed fans with her stunning moves on the show, was at the centre of a rather more unsavoury public performance as she got into a fight after a night on the town.

Chelsee, who days earlier had shown off her moves at the opening ­ceremony for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, waltzed into trouble after partying with friends at glitzy Manchester ­nightspot Bijou. CCTV at a nearby pizza takeaway called By The Slice shows her grappling with another woman while they grab each other’s hair.

It’s the end of the Road for Chelsee

Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey has revealed she is to quit the hit telly drama — just weeks after the show moved to Scotland. The busty actress — who has played dizzy pupil turned secretary Janeece Bryant on the BBC show for six years — told of the shock move last night.

And the former Strictly Come Dancing favourite vowed the final scenes she’s shooting in Greenock will be “unmissable”. Chelsee, 23, said: “Waterloo Road and playing Janeece has been a part of my life for six years and I’ll be sad to leave the show. Working with the cast and crew has been the best time of my life.

Chelsee finally wins the glitterball trophy

Strictly Come Dancing star Chelsee Healey made a triumphant homecoming to the Manchester Arena – brushing aside her celebrity rivals including Harry Judd and Robbie Savage to win the glitterball trophy for the first time on the live tour of the hit BBC show.

Waterloo Road star Chelsee was at the Manchester Arena for the first of two nights of the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour. And she brushed the competition of six other celebrity dancers to one side on the opening night - by winning the audience vote and lifting the glitterball trophy for the first time on the tour. She beamed: "I feel dead daft, but I'm made up."

Chelsee Healey is a fashion disaster

It's another day, another fashion disaster for the retail car crash that is Chelsee Healey.The exuberant Strictly Come Dancing runner-up — last seen dressing up as a Rio carnival queen to promote a coffee brand — looked almost as daft yesterday as she did in her Carmen Miranda incarnation.

Only this time it wasn't fancy dress. Chelsee greeted fans in Birmingham at the SCD tour wearing a purple fake fur hat and matching stole, a leopard-print top and lilac wellies.

Hot on the heels of her Strictly success, Chelsee Healey took the limelight again at a glitzy Boxing Day bash.

The Waterloo Road actress, runner-up to Harry Judd on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, was back on home turf at the chic Cinnabar, near Sportcity. And in keeping with the James Bond theme, Chelsee donned two fabulously stylish outfits – a long black strapless gown with sheer lace, and another strapless number with a thigh-high split and turquoise shell print with gold detailing.

The show, at The Orchard Theatre in Dartford on March 14 and Catford’s Broadway Theatre on March 20, will see the pair perform classic dances, including the rumba, waltz, foxtrot and tango.
