Holly Valance gives birth to her first child

Holly Valance’s father-in-law, Tony Candy, died six weeks before the birth of her first child, but she has made sure that his name will live on.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant and her husband, Nick Candy, have given their daughter the name Toni. “She was born a few days ago,” Candy tells Mandrake at the Wonderland Ball held by the Reuben Foundation to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. “We have decided to call her Luka Violet Toni Candy.”

McFly drummer Harry married his long-term girlfriend Izzy Johnston last year and the pair performed a routine worthy of the TV dance competition when they took to the floor – the video of which is now up on YouTube.

Russell misses opening night due to injury

Russell Grant had to miss the opening night of his West End reunion with Strictly Come Dancing stars Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone due to an injury sustained during rehearsals.

The astrologer had been due to mark his 62nd birthday on Tuesday by appearing in Midnight Tango at a London theatre. "We are so sorry that our dear friend Russell can't join us on stage," said Cacace and Simone in a statement.

Russell Grant will reunite with his Strictly Come Dancing partner Flavia Cacace when he joins her and Vincent Simone in the forthcoming West End return of Midnight Tango.

Grant, who was paired with Flavia during last year's Strictly series, will play Argentinian bar owner Carlos in the show, which runs for a strictly limited season at the Phoenix Theatre from 30 January to 2 March 2013.

Pudsey meet Pudsey - Children in Need's bandaged bear will team up with his dancing dog namesake for the charity show. Viewers will see the show's mascot perform a dance routine with the Britain's Got Talent winner on the BBC appeal next month.

Harry Judd wants to be a judge on 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The McFly drummer - who won the show in 2011 - admits he would relish the opportunity to join the prestigious panel of the BBC show, because he spends so much time pretending he is a judge from his armchair.

He said: ''I'd love to do it. It would be a privilege and an honour, although pretty daunting. 'I love the current judges, but it'd be amazing to join the panel. When I sit at home watching the show I already pretend I'm a judge anyway.''

A source told the New York Post's Page Six Nick and Holly's wedding will be a black-tie affair in Malibu on Saturday (29.09.12) but they will also throw a dinner for guests in Beverly Hills on Friday (28.09.12) and hold an informal barbeque on Sunday (30.09.12).

Chelsee Healey has revealed she is "very daunted" by her upcoming stage debut. The former Strictly Come Dancing star is quitting her role in BBC1's Waterloo Road to take on a part in touring theatre show The Vagina Monologues.

Chelsee said: "This is my stage debut, this is full-on theatre, it's as good as it gets. "Vicky Entwistle and Clare Buckfield are both lovely. I've never done this before, it's on stage and it's very daunting, but I'm very excited at the same time."
