BBC research being carried out today by an independent data compiler has started speculation that Darcy Bussell, who guest starred as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in the last series, may be offered a full time role - if she proves popular with viewers.

The questionnaire asked the public whether they liked or disliked Bruce Forsyth, Tess Daly, Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and the final week's guest judge Bussell. Former popular judge and professional chorographer Arlene Phillips was not listed in the personalities research.
