Ali Bastian must 'reveal her inner animal'

Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli has said that Ali Bastian must unleash an animal aspect to her personality to be able to win the show. He said he wants to see "another side" to her personality on the dance floor.
He told the spin-off show It Takes Two: "I've wanted her to come out of this beautiful, ethereal, fairytale princess.
"I wanted her to show me another side to her personality."
He added: "We know she can dance, but we are getting near the final so we need to see something else now in the Latin dances. Come on give it to me!
"I want to see another side to her... Unleash another aspect. The animal and physical."
However, Craig Revel Horwood praised the former Hollyoaks actress for going "against the grain" with her Charleston performance.
He said: "Goofy, goofy, goofy - It was so against the grain of her naturally. That's what I loved about it.
"It was almost a mess - that's what I loved about it.
"She was really going for that characterisation."
Bastian is currently the bookies' favourite to win the competition after taking over from Ricky Whittle who has been the front-runner for most of the series.
