Jessie Wallace has got engaged. The 'EastEnders' actress - who plays bolshie barmaid Kat Moon in the BBC One soap - was set up with catering company manager Vincent Morse by co-star Charlie Brooks (Janine Malloy) six months ago, but admits their first blind date was "a disaster".

She explained: "We were set up last December by the ex-partner of my good friend Charlie Brooks, who's pals with Vince. He thought we'd be perfect for each other so we went out on a blind date but it didn't go very well.
