Mark and Karen talk about scoring high on Saturday. On the It Takes Two sofa last night, Mark and Karen talked about getting their first ten in the competition, for the Argentine Tango.

"It was just such a relief," said Karen, "because I just didn't think we were worthy of the final if we couldn't go home with a ten - it was wrong. I was desperate."

"It was a fantastic feeling," said Mark. "A lot of the other routines we'd done, we'd done them quite well but just not well enough. There'd perhaps been a slight mistake here and there and the judges didn't think it was deserving of a perfect ten. I suppose it was worth the wait."

Indeed their Tango received the second highest score ever, with thirty-nine points.

"I can't believe it," said Karen.

Claudia pointed out that head judge Len said they should focus on their freestyle routine this week.

About their routine, Karen said, "I'm very, very excited, It's very much about being a team because, if the timing goes even slightly wrong, we could lose the whole dance, but you know that's what this whole show has been about. It's about pushing not only the celebrities, but the professionals."

Asked what he'd feel if he won the competition, Mark said, "I'd be so proud. It's been a long, long journey. Three months ago I met Karenå and we've come through so much and hopefully the hard work will pay off."

Find out if I has on Saturday, 5.40pm and 9.30pm on BBC One.
