Darren and Lilia won the seasonal show.In a special Christmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing, our four top couples from the series - champions Darren and Lilia, Colin and Erin, Zoe and Ian, and James and Camilla - returned to the dancefloor.

Joining them were two of the stars of the US sister series, Dancing with the Stars, Evander Holyfield and Rachel Hunter (partnered with Karen Hardy and Brendan Cole). But who won favour with the judges and the audience to win the Christmas Special?

First up were COLIN and ERIN, dancing a Cha Cha Cha to Let It Snow. They were determined to wow, after narrowly missing out on being the champions. "It was the return of Action Jackson," said Len. "You really was sparkling there... your hip action was like Spaghetti Junction," said Bruno. "I think you're both seriously back in action... you are two of the best celebrity dancers I have ever seen," said Craig.

Next, dancing a Rumba to the Christmas Song, were RACHEL and BRENDAN. She's a supermodel, but how super was she on the floor? "Rachel, a radiant golden love idol, with legs to die for! You could be in the West End right now." said Bruno. "From a star of Dancing with the Stars over there, to a star dancing here on our floor!," agreed Arlene. "What a lovely pair," said Len, "dancing!" he added quickly! "It wasn't the dance of love, it was the dance of lust - it was lovely," said Craig.

JAMES and CAMILLA danced a Foxtrot to Santa Baby. Did they get what they wished for from the judges? "That was smooth, sexy, stylish - that opening lift was fantastic," said Arlene. "The whole thing for me was your best dance," said Len. "It was a box of delight," agreed Bruno. Craig found it clumsy, but he was shouted down by both Len and Arlene.

Dancing a Foxtrot to Winter Wonderland were ZOE and IAN. Third in the final, how would they do this time around? "Once you got into it was beautiful... full of grace full of style," said Craig. "I thought you were a dazzling Christmas fairy, dealing stardust to the audience," said Bruno. "It was fantastic!" said Len.

Next EVANDER and KAREN Jived to Merry Christmas Everyone. "The Terminator and Tinkle Bell battling it out... you were better than you were in America," said Bruno. "That must have been the most disturbing Jive I've ever seen," said a brave Craig. "I never thought I'd see the day when I'd see Evander Holyfield wiggling his bum in front of my very eyes!" said a flirty Arlene.

Finally, champions DARREN and LILIA danced a Quickstep to Jingle Bells. "Once again the boy from Barnsley has proved he can dance and deliver," gushed Arlene "I absolutely loved it," said Craig. "You were like a Red Arrow giving a masterful display over the city - you were fantastic!" said Bruno.

Darren and Lilia gained full marks with the judges, but who did the audience favour?

With the audience points added, James and Camilla came third, Zoe and Ian second, and Darren and Lilia were named the Christmas Special champions.

"We've done the double!" said Darren. "Today has been amazing, because we got four tens!" said Lilia.
