Former EastEnders actor Chris Parker has pulled out of the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing.The troubled 21-year-old, who played Spencer Moon, left Albert Square after an attempted suicide attempt following media speculation about his sexuality.

He was due to hit the floor with other finalists in the ballroom dancing show next week.

But according to the Sun, he no longer wants to take part.

"Chris told us he wasn't up to doing the special," a Beeb insider told the newspaper.

"I think he's keen to keep out of the limelight".

Chris is rumoured to have been offered £50,000 to star in the January series of Celebrity Big Brother as TV bosses try to lure the young star back on to our screens.
