Hero rower’s Strictly up for a rumba

Olympic rower Mark Hunter is hoping to make a splash away from the water – on Strictly Come Dancing. The ace who won silver at the Eton Dorney course this month, says offers for several programmes have already come in, but the BBC1 ballroom hit is the one he is waiting for.

He revealed: “I have had one or two offers of reality shows but none of them really appeal to me at all, although other shows do. “There are some that show people in the right way and others where it is just people trying to make a name for themselves. I don’t watch those and I wouldn’t want to go on them.”
