Paige Smith and Ryan Jenkins have become the first two casualties of So You Think You Can Dance 2011, as the show enters its competitive stage.
The pair were given their marching orders after finding themselves in the bottom two along with fellow dancers Gian Luca Loddo and Stephanie Powell, following the first elimination show of the series.

Disco dancing champion Paige, 18, lives with her mother and sister in Wolverhampton. Her mother is her biggest fan and accompanies her wherever she goes, so coming down to perform on SYTYCD in London is a daunting and exciting prospect for Paige.
Paige says "I can be very shy but I come out of myself when I dance so I will hopefully be the dark horse of the competition."
