SYTYCD - Alice and Charlie out

Alice Woodhouse and Charlie Wheeller have become the two latest casualties of So You Think You Can Dance following this weekend's public vote.

The pair, who had partnered each other earlier in the show, ran out of luck after finding themselves up against Rithy Pereira and Shane Collard in the dance-off.

Dance diva eyes title

A young dancer with an uncanny resemblance to pop star Rihanna is vying for the title of Britain’s best dancer in a BBC TV show.

So You Think You Can Dance has been featuring the talents of 23-year-old dancer Alice Woodhouse, from Skerton, who danced live on TV for the first time on Saturday.

Alice, from Owen Road, is one of 20 dancers through to the finals of the the show.

... she can! A talented young dancer will show off her best moves in front of millions of viewers tonight in a live BBC show.

Alice Woodhouse, 23, is one of 10 female finalists in So You Think You Can Dance?, the BBC1 talent search for a new dance star, presented by Cat Deeley.

Alice, of Skerton, Lancaster, has been dancing since she was six, following in a long line of entertainers in her family, including her mum Carol, a former dance teacher.

SYTYCD 2 - Meet Alice Woodhouse

Flame-haired Contemporary dancer Alice grew up in Lancaster and is 23. She is from an all-performing family who hold showbiz parties which include her tap dancing grandmother who is also a black belt in Taekwondo!

Alice hopes her bubbly personality will help her get through the competition and she wants to "keep it real." She can't wait to be on the live shows as "all live theatre is just the best!"
