DWTS Wardrobe Malfunction!

Only 20 seconds into her cha cha, Katherine Jenkins faced what could have been a dangerous wardrobe malfunction when a pant leg that was supposed to be pulled off and discarded ended up twisted around her foot and ankle.

But the classical singer showed remarkable presence of mind on Monday night's Dancing With the Stars as she continued the dance with her high heel dragging the fabric across the floor. She was eventually able to kick it off her foot in a genius stroke of ad-lib choreography.

DWTS 14 - The Skin Game

We have never seen this much skin. This season, Dancing With the Stars is as much a battle of the delts and pecs as it is a rumble for the best heels and toes on the ballroom floor.

Sometimes going topless, or nearly topless, works. Sometimes it doesn't. It didn't help former sitcom star Jaleel White, for example, whose open shirt during the Dance Duel Tuesday night couldn't save him from elimination.

DWTS 14 - The Queen of the Damned

After doing a lackluster fox trot on Dancing With the Stars last week — and being judged the second to the worst couple during that show's dance marathon — talk show host Maria Menounos and her pro partner, Derek Hough, came back with a vengeance Monday night, taking a bite out of the paso doble and getting the first perfect score this season.

"The Queen of the Damned is the Queen of the Night!" raved judge Bruno Tonioli, before all three judges waved their "10" paddles.

Gladys Knight Makes No Excuses

She may have been handed her walking papers, but bet on this: The producers of Dancing With the Stars won't let Gladys Knight go far. Win or lose, she owned Motown Week, at least according to her adoring fans.

"I don't want her to leave," said one man in the audience, "but if she goes, that'll be OK, too, because then she can come back and sing."

DWTS 14 - Jaleel's Comeback

No one has had a rougher ride on Dancing With the Stars this season than Jaleel White. The 35-year-old actor, who has loads of natural ability, nevertheless seems to have been dancing under a dark cloud since Week 2.

Early on, there was a verbal dust-up in rehearsals with his professional partner, Kym Johnson. And then, after landing in the bottom two last Tuesday night, a dance-for-your-life moment when he had to go up against singer Gavin DeGraw in the show's first Dance Duel to stay in the competition.

Gavin DeGraw's Secret Strategy

It's really too bad that singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw, who knew his Dancing With the Stars days were numbered, didn't get to employ his secret and rather ingenious strategy to stay in the competition: Phone in the Monday night samba and spend the whole week working on the dance he knew was coming, the Tuesday night, fight-for-your-life cha cha.

With the laid-back style that has become his trademark, DeGraw says he expected to be in the bottom two this week. After all, he's been there twice already, and couldn't believe that he had somehow earned enough votes to escape last week.
