Olympic soccer star Hope Solo says her former Dancing with the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy often "manhandled" her and once slapped her across the face in rehearsals.

In her new memoir Solo: A Memoir of Hope, the 31-year-old writes: "He was often nasty, swearing at me and being harshly critical. He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly.

Dancing with the Stars winner J.R. Martinez and his girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones welcomed a baby girl Wednesday, People reports.

The Hills' Kristin Cavallari is pregnant with her first child, People reports. The longtime reality star, who competed on Dancing With the Stars last fall, is engaged to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

"We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together," the couple told People. "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."

J.R. Martinez got a hero's welcome at the Pentagon on Thursday.

The singer appeared on Ellen DeGeneres Show, and said that he is trying to lose weight before beginning his training. He said, “I’m losing weight. When I get where I feel I’m gonna look good enough for what I wanna do I’ll do that.”

Kristin Cavallari may have suffered a broken engagement earlier this year, but all is mended.

JR Martinez is celebrating his Dancing With the Stars win with a trip to the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta wrote the Iraqi war veteran a congratulatory note following Martinez's victory on the ABC show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Your strength and spirit captivated the nation, and your victory sends a strong message about the strength and resilience of our wounded warriors," he said. Panetta later called with a personal invitation to the Pentagon.
