Jorgie Porter has confessed that she loves wearing the sexy costumes on Dancing on Ice. The Hollyoaks actress told a tabloid newspaper that she has enjoyed wearing PVC outfits and dressing up for the ice dance contest.

Jorgie Porter favourite to win DOI

What a week it has been for Jorgie Porter, and more to the point, her Dancing on Ice skating partner Matt Evers. Viewers watched in horror at the weekend as footage showed Jorgie accidentally kicking Matt in the face as they attempted the ‘neck spin’ during rehearsals on Saturday.

Matt was rushed to hospital to have surgery but bravely returned, complete with a splint on his nose, in time for rock week on DOI.

Sam Nixon shows off shocking bruises

Sam Nixon didn't look in skate shape as he dropped his trousers to reveal the shocking bruises that he got during Dancing On Ice. The TV presenter was seen performing the difficult frog lift on the programme last night where partner Alexandra Schauman is hoisted up and stands on his thighs.

Showing off his injuries on This Morning earlier today, Sam warned hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "They are a bit darker today - do you wanna see 'em?!...They are pretty bad."

Sam reveals he is 'gutted' to leave the show

Sam Nixon was one contestant on Dancing on Ice who truly did improve week on week, so it came as a bit of a shock last night when he was sent packing.

Despite delivering his highest scoring skate of the competition so far, after rocking out to The Killers Human and completing the dreaded frog lift, Sam ended up in the bottom two, alongside former X Factor star Chico.

It was a case of “the show must go on” Sunday night for brave skater Matt Evers, after Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter accidentally kicked him in the face as they attempted the ‘neck spin’ during Dancing on Ice rehearsals on Saturday.

Viewers watched in horror on Sunday as the rehearsal footage was played out, showing the moment Jorgie’s skate hit Matt’s face and the US heartthrob was rushed to the side of the ice with blood pouring from a deep gash down his nose.

Children's TV presenter Sam Nixon has become the latest casualty of Dancing On Ice, after losing out on Sunday night's rock-theme show.

The 25-year-old - whose presenting partner Mark Rhodes was voted out earlier in the series - was sent packing after he came up against Chico, one of the current favourites, in the skate-off. And despite his best efforts to impress the judges in the skate-off, the verdict was unanimous.

Dancing On Ice skater Matt Evers took to the rink sporting a large plaster on Sunday night after suffering an injury to his forehead during rehearsals.

The Canadian professional was left needing medical attention after his partner Jorgie Porter accidentally sliced his head with the blade of her skate while practising a neck spin movement for their routine on Sunday's rock-themed show.

They wowed the panel of judges with their performance to Bonnie Tyler's `Total Eclipse Of The Heart', gaining a score of 22 points.

Dancing on Ice favourite Matthew Wolfenden has said that he sustained so many injuries that he thought he might have to quit the show.

The Emmerdale star revealed that he had sustained a number of minor injuries during training for the ice dance contest. Wolfenden told The Sun that he was in "absolute agony" before the start of the live shows.

Matt Evers' face slashed

Bleeding Dancing on Ice star Matt Evers crashed out last night after his face was slashed with a skate blade. Horrified Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, 24, was rehearsing for tonight's show when she caught the professional skater on the forehead.

The gash was so deep, Matt, 35, was rushed to hospital for stitches. The accident happened as the pair practised the neck spin, where Jorgie has to wrap her legs around Matt's throat.

Dancing on Ice star Matthew Wolfenden has ruled out performing on the show with fiancee Charley Webb. The Emmerdale actor told The Sun that he has no plans to perform a romantic routine on the ice.

He told the newspaper: "Me and Charley have always watched Dancing on Ice, and last year I suddenly thought, 'Why not!'" "Charley's great - she comes down every Sunday to support me, then drives back on three hours' sleep.

Phillip Schofield has claimed that he has been "banned" from taking to the ice by Dancing on Ice bosses. The show host said that show chiefs are concerned that he might suffer an injury if he were to skate on the ice dance show.

Dancing on Ice star Jorgie Porter has said that she hopes to maintain a "long-term" love with James Atherton. The 24-year-old told a celebrity magazine that she initially was not keen on her fellow Hollyoaks co-star.

She told Fabulous magazine that she was surprised that their relationship has lasted. Jorgie is quoted as saying: "We were friends for about six months before we got together and I thought he was an utter pain in the backside."

Speaking on This Morning, Dean said: "I think whoever is there in the last three can win it." Chatting about the final nine contestants, Christopher added: "They are bruised and hurting - just the way that they should be.
