What a week it has been for Jorgie Porter, and more to the point, her Dancing on Ice skating partner Matt Evers. Viewers watched in horror at the weekend as footage showed Jorgie accidentally kicking Matt in the face as they attempted the ‘neck spin’ during rehearsals on Saturday.
Matt was rushed to hospital to have surgery but bravely returned, complete with a splint on his nose, in time for rock week on DOI.

Sam Nixon didn't look in skate shape as he dropped his trousers to reveal the shocking bruises that he got during Dancing On Ice. The TV presenter was seen performing the difficult frog lift on the programme last night where partner Alexandra Schauman is hoisted up and stands on his thighs.
Showing off his injuries on This Morning earlier today, Sam warned hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: "They are a bit darker today - do you wanna see 'em?!...They are pretty bad."

The 25-year-old - whose presenting partner Mark Rhodes was voted out earlier in the series - was sent packing after he came up against Chico, one of the current favourites, in the skate-off. And despite his best efforts to impress the judges in the skate-off, the verdict was unanimous.

Bleeding Dancing on Ice star Matt Evers crashed out last night after his face was slashed with a skate blade. Horrified Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, 24, was rehearsing for tonight's show when she caught the professional skater on the forehead.
The gash was so deep, Matt, 35, was rushed to hospital for stitches. The accident happened as the pair practised the neck spin, where Jorgie has to wrap her legs around Matt's throat.
