The free-running expert stunned hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley by breaking down after his skate-off performance. However, the French man confessed that he was worried about his children watching at home as he was eliminated from the show.

The trio had to perform a set sequence of 23 steps without their partners to keep their place in the series. Chemmy was saved by the judges after Sebastien forgot the routine and Heidi was "hesitant". The Sugababes singer said: "I've had the time of my life." Freerunner Sebastien added: "It was a fantastic adventure for me."

The Sugababes singer - who had been one of the bookies' favourites to leave - and the French athlete lost out to Olympic skiier Chemmy Allcott, who was also in the skate-off but was saved by head judge Robin Cousins.

The French star said: “I would say ice skating is different from what I thought, it’s harder and it’s a difficult task, even just co-ordination and balance when you are on the ice. There’s also always about five things to remember at once but I don’t feel scared so am not afraid to push myself to try new things.
