‘Skating was a dream come true’
Rosemary Conley may have been voted off Dancing on Ice but she isn’t hanging up her skates just yet. The 65-year-old fitness guru from Ashby Folville left the ITV series on Sunday after judges unanimously voted to keep fellow celebrity Chemmy Alcott in.
Having won support as the oldest contestant to reach the sixth show, she felt that the time had been right for her to leave. She said: “It was a phenomenal and beautiful experience to get the chance to be taught to skate by a pro international skater and have the chance to perform in front of nine million people every week.
