Chico Slimani has confessed that Dancing on Ice has helped to revive his career. The former X Factor singer admitted that work had dried up prior to him joining the ice dance contest.

He told the Sunday Mercury that he was struggling to pay his mortgage before getting the call to join the show. Chico confessed: "It was a tough year.
