Chemmy: I won't have kids until I retire

Broken bones, gashed heads, torn muscles and cracked ribs have made this year’s Dancing on Ice more like a series of Casualty. But while the show’s cast of actresses, presenters and singers have complained about the risks, for Chemmy Alcott it’s a lot less dangerous than her day job.

Having shrugged off breaking her back and neck in previous falls, the skier was left with the bones in her leg poking through her skin after a horrific 60mph smash in 2010. The crash was so bad she could have died, but she is determined to be back on her skis and competing again in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
