Angry Andy Akinwolere claimed last night that Louie Spence gave him the shove from Dancing On Ice because he's "not his type". Former Blue Peter host Andy was stunned as judge Louie scored him just 3.5 out of ten on Sunday night — compared with marks of 5.5 and 5.0 he got from Olympic skate legends Katarina Witt and Robin Cousins.

And after the public vote dumped Andy in a skate-for-survival with Sugababes singer Heidi Range, Louie and Robin voted him out as Katarina was the sole judge to back him. Louie told Andy on the ITV1 show: "The moves are there but very floppy."

Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere has admitted that being voted out of Dancing on Ice in week one has left him “speechless”.

Andy, who scored a respectable 14 out of 30 for his routine to Moves Like Jagger with professional partner Maria Filippov, was speaking straight after hearing the shock news that the public had voted him out.

Andy Akinwolere was the first celebrity to be voted off the new series of Torvill and Dean's Dancing On Ice.

The Blue Peter presenter and pro partner Maria Filippov found themselves in the skate off with Sugababes singer Heidi Range and Andrei Lipanov, after the first round of public voting in the 2012 contest.
